Negative Public Opinion: And the whole bed to yourself. by Thresher Charles

Thresher’s work is not a great example of Freeform Fiction, the most blatant reason being that his stories must be read all at once, or the point is never understood. Chronology is imperative because his stories would not make sense in any other order. That is the difference between freeform fiction and stylistic fiction. It is more than spacing, design, or rhythm; “Freeform” is a requirement of its form. A Freeform Fiction book should tell its story through pieces, which inevitably add up to a full story. These pieces are unlimited in style, authority, and authorship. Thresher’s work, though, is just short fiction written like poetry.
