Excerpt from novel: with Abandon

I’ve run away with Abandon.

it said to Me,
“you’ve been watching me closely, wary of me,
but can’t You see, lovely,
You are the one i’ve been pining for
all of this time.”
then gently
it touched My forehead
directly between the brows.
instantly I came gratefully.

Abandon embedded itself into Me
prefrontally
“escape from lovelessness into a new kind of bliss.
forget Your pain and find your New Self;
leave before You are left.”
at that I disappeared from Her
entirely.
